How do I made an account?
When you go to check out of the online shop, an account will automatically be made for you using the info that you have input. You will be prompted to create a user name and password and that's it! easy!
you don't need to create an account before you shop.
Are there other payment options than PayPal?
In you are South African, I also accept Snapscan and EFT. Drop me a message and we"ll organise :)
Are there cheaper shipping options?
I wish there were. I live in and ship from South Africa, shipping here is expensive. If you are an international customer, I recommend that you go for the Courier shipping option if you possibly can - it's fast and safe!
UPDATE: I no longer ship internationally through the post office. No exceptions..
Locally I ship through Postnet counter to counter or Pudo.

The difference between Gold filled and gold plated:
Gold Plated: The process of gold plating is one where a fine layer of gold is applied over a base metal. The amount of real gold that is used is actually so tiny that its technically considered unmeasurable (less than .05%). This is why gold plating will wear off (actually pretty quickly).
Gold Filled: Gold Filled jewelry is made by wrapping layers of solid gold sheets around a base metal. Unlike gold plated jewelry, gold filled jewelry actually has a measurable amount of gold in it. This process of adhering solid gold sheets makes for jewelry that does not tarnish, peel, chip or discolor. If your gold filled jewelry has changed color, its usually just because of dirt build up and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
About the resin I use: I use crystal resin which was originally designed for industrial purposes such as kitchen counters and table coating. It is super hard, UV resistant (so the stuff inside won't fade) hypoallergenic, and catering grade - it is inert once set and safe against your skin.
With extended wear directly against your skin, it can cloud from the oils, I can easily your piece for you. This is a free service, I just need you to pay for the shipping.
About the bugs and plants I use: All botanicals used in my jewelery is ethically and sustainably foraged on private land. All bugs were found in nature and had a natural death.
Note about jewelery: Much of my jewelery is designed to age gracefully with the natural oxidation processes of the metal. The colours of the chain will change over time. I believe this adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the pieces.
